Bruce Edward Comer, 66, of Shenandoah, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Bruce was born on Feb 7, 1942 in Shenandoah and was the son of the late Paul J Comer,Sr. and Nellie L Judd Comer.
Bruce was led to Christ before his death by Pastor James C Williams.
He is survived by seven sisters, Eula Mae Russoms of Florida, Nancy Lam, Sandra Breeden, Joyce Dean and Linda Williams, all of Elkton, Joann Comer and Brenda Comer, both of Shenandoah; two brothers, Frankie Comer and Allen Comer, both of Shenandoah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Jennings Comer, Jr. and Charles Wilson Comer.
At his request his body will be cremate and a private family graveside service will be held.
