Funeral Mass for Irene M. Cole has been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, June 17, 2013 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Coweta, Oklahoma. Celebrant s will be Deacon Lamar Yarbrough and Father Martin Morgan. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 16, 2013. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.

Irene Mary Cole was born June 20, 1928 in Hitchcock, Oklahoma the daughter of John and Hilda (Strack) Kloeppel. Irene died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma. She was 84 years of age.

The former Miss Irene Kloeppel was a graduate in 1946 fromKingfisher, Oklahoma High School. She received her Registered Nursing Degree from St. Anthony Nursing School. She married Joseph Bryant Cole on July 14, 1951 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Irene was primarily a homemaker. She and her family traveled and lived in many countries where she always provided a warm and loving home for them. She volunteered for St. Francis Hospital in the Surgery Department in the 80's and recently served on the Church Parish Council. She enjoyed spending time and encouraging her grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to spoil her animals. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Building Fund, 15842 S. 297th E. Ave., Coweta, OK 74429.
