EXTREME HEAT CAUSES DEATH

Miss Amy Andrews Succumbs from Effects of heat Exhaustion

Heat exhaustion, suffered while she was walking to her home on Hubbard Rd., from the Truscon Steel Co. officed Thursday afternoon was fatal to Miss Amy Andrews, aged 19, daughter of William and Anna Andrews, 27 Hubbard Rd.

The young lady was walking on Albert St., and when she reached the Frank Jacobs residence, was seen to sway. Miss Belle and Frank Jacobs assisted her to their porch wing, where she soon became unconscious. She never rallied, and died at 6:30 p.m.

Amy Olive Andrews was born October 11, 1906, in England, the daughter of William and Anna Andrews. She came to this city in 1912 from England and had resided here since. Miss Andrews was employed in the cost department of the Truscon Steel Co. She had attended McKinley School and was a graduate of Hall's Business College. She was a member of the Y.M.C.A. and also St. John's Espiscopal Church and Sunday school. She leaves her parents.

Funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday at four p.m. Rev. Vaugh will have charge and interment will be in Belmont Park Cemetery.
