Archie Phillip "Fly Boy" Ross

Funeral services for Archie Phillip 'Fly Boy' Ross, age 54, will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Reed's Chapel in Lexington, with burial to follow in the Middlefork Community. He was the son of the late Edgar Carl 'E.C.' and Mary Francis 'Sweetheart' Ross. He attended Lexington High School.

Mr. Ross was a pilot and used "Fly Boy" as his CB Radio "handle".

He is survived by three daughters Julie Ross of Jackson, Misty Ross of Parsons and April Ross of Lexington; one step-daughter Hope Coleman of Henderson; three grandchildren; two brothers Ed Ross Jr. of Huron and A.J. Ross of Lexington; four sisters Christine Waller of Henderson, Wanda Kindle of Lexington, Vickie Johnson and Betsy Goff of Huron. Along with family he also leaves many friends.

Visitation will be today 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Reed's Chapel 731-968-3643 is in charge of funeral arrangements.
