William E. Brier Jr.. 70. a retired Warren County farmer, died at 8:04 p.m. Saturday shortly after arrival at Community Hospital, apparently of a heart attack.

Born in Warren County, he had lived all his life in the house where he was born.

He was a graduate of Boswell High School. In 1935 he was married in Boswell to Florence Van Horn, who survives.

Mr. Brier was a member of Tab Christian Church and Masonic Lodge 486 of Boswell.

Surviving with the widow are four sons, Stephen T. Brier of Fowler, William R. Brier of Terre Haute, Dan Brier of Harrisburg. Pa., and Charles Brier of Kokomo; one brother. James Brier of Williamsport; and a sister. Mrs. Lorene Nesbitt of Boswell.
