Mrs. Elizabeth Bowman Moore, 90, formerly of Walkertown, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

She was the wife of the late Walter L. "Jack" Moore.

She was born Oct. 27, 1914, in Fancy Gap, Va., to John D. and Clare Nelson Bowman.

Mrs. Moore was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church. She retired from Hanes Corp. after many years of service.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty M. Jones, and husband, C.F., of Statesville; a son, Mr. Billy G. Moore, and wife, Linda, of Belews Creek; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jessie McKinney of Greensboro; and two brothers, Mr. Raymond Bowman of King and Mr. Jethro Bowman of Pilot Mountain.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, June 8, at Vogler & Sons Main Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Harold Schwantes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made in honor of Mrs. Moore to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
