Danny Chambliss, 55, of Purvis died Wednesday June 12, 2013 in Purvis. Services will be Saturday May 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Purvis followed by burial in Hartfield Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Rev. Scott Murphy and the pallbearers will be Glennis Lee, Michael Setliff, Grady Robbins, Charles Jones, Eddie Anderson and Chuck Bounds. Mr. Chambliss was a Truck Driver and a member of Grace Covenant Church.
Mr. Chambliss was preceded in death by his Wife, Patricia Chambliss; his son, Daniel Scooter Chambliss and two brothers, Charles Chambliss Jr. and Charles Michael Chambliss.
He is survived by his Mother, Genita Chambliss of Purvis; two sons, Donnie Chambliss and Timothy Taylor both of Purvis; one daughter, Micki Sellers of Purvis; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Kimberly Chambliss of Purvis, Tandra Hernadez of Pearsall, TX, Kathy Setliff of Moselle and Martha McCall of Horseshoe, FL ; one Brother, Cory Chambliss of Angelton, TX Visitation will be Friday June 14, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Purvis.
