Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Tallahassee. Interment with military honors will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
Viewing-visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE 850-942-1950, with a Wake from 6-7:30 at Tabernacle.
Louis was a product of the Escambia County School District, having graduated from Booker Washington Sr. High in the Class of 1962; he furthered his education at Florida A&M University. Louis retired as a correctional officer with the U.S. Justice Dept., Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Tallahassee, where he served for 30 years.
He also served in the U.S. Armed Forces and was a member of the Prince Hall Affiliated Masonic bodies.
