Linda Bernard passed away at her Beaverton home with her family by her side.
She was born Aug. 14, 1943 in Boise, ID to Celia and Raymond Strawn.

Linda graduated from Borah High School and attended University of Idaho. Linda married the love of her life, William M. Bernard Jr. in 1963. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. Linda was active in boy and girl scouts, the P.E.O. organization, and her church. After raising her family, Linda went to work in the insurance industry where she started out as a temp office worker and rose to director of administrative services. Linda enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach, and watching golf and the Portland Trail Blazers. She loved her kitties, feeding the birds and squirrels, and her flowers.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bill. She is survived by her children Steven, David, and Anne, sisters Jane and Sally, daughter-in-law Anna, son-in-law Dana, and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 15th at Saint James Episcopal Church in Tigard, OR.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint James Episcopal Church, Oregon Humane Society, OPB, or a charity of your choice .
