Emma Victoria Ellis, 95, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 3:10 PM, Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Seneca House Nursing Home after a long illness.
Emma Victoria Roark was born June 8, 1917 in Newton County, MO the daughter of Tuck and Carrie (Thomas) Roark. Emma was a homemaker and a lifelong Christian. She had lived in Seneca all her life. Emma V. Roark married Charles C. Ellis April 12, 1943 in Neosho, MO and he preceded her in death January 29, 2009.
Survivors include three children; Larry Ellis, Claremore, OK, Janet Nesvold and Dick Ellis both of Seneca; One brother Carl Roark, Seneca; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the funeral home.
Funeral services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Racine Christian Church with John St Clair officiating.
Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Rob Nesvold, Brandon Nesvold, Gary Roark, Cameron Nesvold, Tanner Nesvold, Don Roark, Sean Williams and Kade Williams serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Ellis, Dick Ellis and Michael Ellis.
