Janice E. McLaughlin (nee Nadiger), 80, of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at her residence under the care of the Hospice of the Western Reserve, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Frankfort, Michigan on March 24, 1933 and had been a resident of Lorain since 1954. Janice was a devoted member of the Christian Life Church in Lorain. She would bake delicious pies and sell them to benefit the Church. Janice was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, sewing for her daughters and her granddaughters, making lovely photo albums and creating wishing wells for weddings; but most of all, spending time playing cards and dice games with her grandchildren, whom she truly adored. Survivors include her children, Marilyn Kutcley of Florida, Debra (Mike) Mielcarek and Cindy (Glen) Falish all of Lorain, her twin-sons, Bruce McLaughlin of Henderson, Nev. and Brian McLaughlin of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Snyder and Jeff Minor; sisters, Marlene Grammar and Carol Brown all of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Bruce McLaughlin; grandson, James McLaughlin; brother, Bobby Nadiger; and by her parents, Irving and Grace (nee Snyder) Nadiger. Friends may call Friday, June 14, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the time of the services at 1 p.m. at Wyers Funeral Chapel 2900 North Ridge Road Sheffield Township. The Rev. Wallace Justice, Pastor of Christian Life Church in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
