Doug Williams, age 67, of Bauxite, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013. He was born November 6, 1945 in Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Williams was a U.S. Army Veteran. Doug retired from the Arkansas State Police. He served 27 years and 7 months. Doug was Commander of the Crimes Against Children Division upon retirement. He ends a 35 year career in law enforcement, including more than three years with the Little Rock Police Department and four years with the United States Secret Service-Executive Protective Service. Doug was currently employed at the Department of Human Services Division of Childcare.
