He was a 1964 graduate of Hamilton Township High School where he excelled as a football player. He was a member of the Turnpoint Apostolic Church for more than 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Lula Catherine Meadows; sister-in-law, Virginia Meadows; and great nephew, Christopher Newsome. Surviving are his brother Laurel (Dova) Meadows and his brother, Jimmie Meadows; and nephews and nieces, Robin, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Angie, Tiffany, Tinia, Jimmie Jr., Quoia, and Diamond.
