PLATTSBURGH — Dorothy J.
Connolly, 91, of Sheila Avenue
died Sunday, Dec. 20, 1998, at
CVPH Medical Center. She was
born in Morrisonville Oct. 8,
1907, the daughter of Henry and
Hattie (Dashnaw) Rock.
She retired from State JJniver^
sity of New York at Plattsburgh
in 1976 and was a member of St.
Alexander's Church and the
Rosary and Altar Society of St.
Alexander's.
She is survived by two sons and
two daughters-in-law, Ernest Edward
and Frances Rock of Peru
and James and Diana Connolly of
Malta; a daughter, Joan Grassi of
Plattsburgh; six grandchildren,
10 great-grandchildren, two
great-great-grandchildren; a
brother-in-law, Leon Bedell of
Plattsburgh; a sister-in-law, Inez
Rock of Morrisonville. She was
predeceased by her brothers
Clayton, Edward, Conley,
Clarence, Clifford and her sisters,
Agatha Sorrell, Ruth Hock, Florence
Bedell.
Calling hours will be Tuesday
from 2-4 and 7-9 from the Brown
Funeral Home Plattsburgh. A
Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m.
from St. Alexander's Church. Following
cremation, interment will
be in St. Alexander's Cemetery.
Friends wishing may make donations
to the Heart Fund or Parkinson's Foundation.
