WAYNE W. BERGIN died October 1, 2010 at The Court of Overland Park, Overland Park, KS at the age of 84. Wayne was born on January 15, 1926 in Clay County, Kansas the son of Walter Bergin and Charlotte Riechers.

Wayne graduated from Clay Center High School in 1944. He married Norma Jean Oehler on September 9, 1951 and she preceded him in death on December 13, 1992. He farmed in Clay County all of his life. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he was an elder, the Farm Bureau, and the Concordia Moose Club. He also served on the CO-OP board of directors. He was also preceded in death by one son, Aaron.

Survivors include:

Son: Dennis and his wife, Julia Bergin, St. Louis, Mo

Son: Marlon and his wife, Karen Bergin, Olathe, KS

Granddaughter: Michelle and her husband, Josh Seichepine, Olathe, KS

Special Friend: Rachel Wingfield, Clay Center, Kansas

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, Kansas .

Officiating the service will be Rev. James Byers.

Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.

Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in care of the funeral home.
