Daryl H. Brubaker, 78, of Wooster, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at West View Manor, in Wooster.
Services will be Friday at 11 am at the Roberts Funeral Home -Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to West View Manor, 1715 Mechanicsburg Rd, Wooster, OH 44691 or Akron Childrens Hospital, 1 Perkins Sq, Akron, OH 44308.
Daryl was born July 1, 1934 in Lodi to Howard and Irene {Repp} Brubaker.
He graduated from Burbank High School in 1952. He married Ellen Thomas on August 3, 1963, she died in 2009.
Daryl worked for International Paper for 37 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, and was an old car buff.
Daryl will be deeply missed by brothers Gerald Brubaker of TN, Ron Brubaker of Wooster; sisters Darlene (Glenn) Meek of Lodi, and Betty (Gerald) Walters of Burbank; many nieces and nephews.
Daryl was preceded in death by his wife Ellen. -
