George E. Lehmann, 67,of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Baptist Health Center, of Corbin.

Born in Dayton, George was the son of the late Joseph A. Lehmann Jr. and Rosalind Wilke Lehmann. He is a retired maintenance supervisor for Therm-O-Disc of London, Kentucky, had been organist at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 25 years, and a bus driver for St. Camillus Academy for past 5 years. He was a previous organist at Visitation Catholic Church for 10 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Lehmann, brother-in-law Gary Cooper, and several nieces and a great nephew.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lou (Campbell) Lehmann; son, Mark Lehmann and wife Lyn of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; one daughter, JoAnn Angel and husband Kenny, of Corbin; grandchildren, Gretchen, Brody, and George Lehmann, and Amanda and Nicholas Angel; brother and sisters: Joe Lehmann and wife Charlene, Ralph Lehmann and wife Diane, Dorothy Scheu and husband Tom, Larry Lehmann and wife, Maryanne, Rosie Goubeaux, Mary Lehmann, Monica Wirick and husband Mike, Virgie Matis and husband Mike, Agnes Elder and husband Sean and Cathy Cooper all of Dayton, and Patty Foresta and husband Brian of Livonnia, Michigan, and many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Sue Flora, sister-in-law Wanda Campbell of Eaton, and brother-in-law Richard Campbell and wife Jean of West Alexandria.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Bowen St. Dayton, on Saturday, June 22, at 11 a. m. followed by a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made to the Sacred Heart Choir, 703 Master St. Corbin, Kentucky.
