MELANIE DENISE ADAMS, age 41 of Milton, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, following a short illness. She leaves behind her son, Blake Adams Manuel of Murfreesboro; parents, Wade and Clara Adams of Milton; and a sister, Lisa Wallace and her husband, Scott, also of Milton. Her paternal grandfather, Henry Roden, also survives her. She also leaves behind a special friend and companion, Calvin Broussard.
Melanie was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Adams, and sister-in-law; Mary Jane Adams; her paternal grandmother, Mildred Greggs Roden; and her maternal grandparents, Jesse James Harrell and Pauline Brandon Harrell.
She was a member of the Baptist faith.
