"William J. Biro, 62, of 1006 Broadway, Lorain was pronounced dead Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain. Dr. William Kishman, Lorain County coroner, ruled the death was of natural causes, occurring between 3-4 pm.
Mr. Biro was born in Elyria. He was a veteran of service with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Coast Guard. He served as a fireman on the Eugene P. Thomas on the Great Lakes.
Surviving are a son, William E. of Avon, three daughters, Mrs. Verna Mae Magyar of Bellevue, Mrs. Carol Smith of Sheffield Lake and Mrs. Irene Edenfield, Gainesville, Ga., two brothers, Andrew of Elyria and Steve of Lorain and two sisters, Mrs. Irene Dubicza and Mrs. Mary Dantry, both of Lorain.
The funeral was to be held today at the Reidy-Scanlan Funeral Home, Lorain, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. "
