Obituary
EDWARDS, Kimberly D. (Kimmie), 40, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013.
Kimmie was a longtime client of the Louise M. Smith Development Center where she was blessed with lifelong friendships with clients and staff members. She enjoyed various activities such as bowling in the Special Olympics.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hershel Smitherman and grandmother, Annie Mae Edwards. She is survived by her mother Gail Edwards; one sister, Michelle Monfee (Lee); two brothers, James Edwards (Rebecca) and Thomas Edwards; and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel with Dustan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Eclectic, AL.
Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m
