Emily A. Kendrick, 56, of East Palatka died Thursday, May 29, 2003 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born in Palatka and had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County, having grown up in Francis. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Bardin. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, James "Bug" Kendrick, East Palatka; two daughters: Marie Verdell, St. Augustine and Rose Kendrick, Green Cove Springs; one brother and sister-in-law: Harry and Debbie Wilkinson, Francis; one sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Wayne Simmons, Francis; and three grandchildren: Elizabeth Verdell, St. Augustine, and Stephanie and Jonathan Kendrick, both of Green Cove Springs
