Peden Rites Set For Wednesday
Funeral services for Amos C. Peden, who died suddenly Sunday morning at 710 S. Main St., will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Main and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Truman Whitaker will officiate and burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
Mr. Peden was a paint contractor and was 84 years old. He was born near Salem and had lived in New Castle since 1935. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Salem.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Fred Lewis, 710 S. Main St.; two half-sisters: Mrs. Minnie Hall of Mitchell and Mrs. Neva Fultz of Salem; one half-brother, Everett Peden of Salem; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
