DENVER - Benjamin "Ben" D. Peterson, 35, of Broomfield died Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel in Kearney, Neb., with the Rev. David A. Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Kearney Cemetery.
He was born June 14, 1977, in Golden Valley, Minn., to David A. and Carol J. (Swenson) Peterson.
Survivors include his parents of Omaha, Neb.; sisters, Joy Brand and her husband, Tracy, of Kearney and Dawn Burrow and her husband, Matt, of Dallas; paternal grandmother, Ruth Peterson of Brainerd, Minn.; and fiancée, Kendall Kapple of Greeley.
The family moved to Lincoln, Neb., where Ben graduated from Lincoln High School. He was a six-year member of the Air National Guard.
He attended Aims Community College in Greeley and the University of Colorado in Boulder. He worked as a supervisor for LPS Management in Broomfield, where he had lived for the past six years.
He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.
