She was six weeks old when she died at her home in Jacksonville, FL.
Survived by her parents; two brothers and two sisters; paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Joe Garner of Pelzer, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Rufus P. Roach of Easley.
Funeral services: Wednesday, September 15, 1955, Easley Church of God, conducted by Rev. J.T. Duckett and Rev. Earl Roach.
Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery
As was still the custom of the day, her body was returned to the family home for visitation until the time of the funeral. This took place at the home of her maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Rufus Roach.
