Patrick J.Hicks, 50, of S. Wintergarden Rd. Bowling Green, died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at his residence. He was born March 16, 1954 in Buffalo, New York to Francis J. and Dorothy (Houser) Hicks. He married Carol Krietemeyer on April 23, 1988.
He owned Hick's Consulting in Bowling Green where he did executive recruiting. Mr. Hicks was a member of St. Thomas More University Parish, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Past President of Mensa (Maumee Valley Chapter) His hobbies include: fishing, photography, and traveling. He held his pilot's license and enjoyed flying. Mr. Hick's was a U.S. Air-force Veteran.
Surviving are his wife: Dr. Carol Hicks, son: James P. both of B.G. his mother: Dorothy Houser Hicks Malak of Holland, Ohio, brothers: Christopher of Findlay, Timothy of Mesa, Arizona and Michael of Holland, Ohio; sister; Sue Ann Leonard of Holland. He was preceded by his father.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 11:00am in St. Thomas More Parish. Rev. Ken Morman will officiate. Burial is in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm in the Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St. Bowling Green.There will be a Scripture Service at 8:30pm. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wood County Unit of the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.dunnfuneralhome.com
