OLEAN - Judy A. Kennedy of 1721 Haskell Parkway passed away Sunday (Feb. 26, 2012) in Lakeland, Fla., after an apparent heart attack.
Born Feb. 20, 1943, in Bradford, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Sarah Fargo Jordan. On Jan. 11, 1964, in Portville United Methodist Church, she married James E. Kennedy, who survives.
Judy was a graduate of Portville Central School, Class of 1961. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and knitting. She was especially fond of her dogs.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, James (Julie) Kennedy Jr. of Elmira; two daughters, Kimberly (Jeff) Sortisio of Hamburg and Pamela (Marty) Pieszala of Tonawanda; seven grandchildren, Jordan Kennedy, Korey Kennedy, Zachary Sortisio, Ryan Sortisio, Jacob Sortisio, Bryce Pieszala and Brooke Pieszala; two brothers, Hubert "Mickey" (Millie) Jordan and Gerald "Jerry" (Joan) Jordan, both of Portville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Burial will be in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville.
Memorials may be made to the Weston's Mills Fire Department.
