Judith Delap married Henry Harper Carmichael, 25 October 1847, Ripley County, Indiana. They had 12 children.

1885 IA Census, Exira, Audubon County. (Farmer) Henry, Judith, Thaddeus, 19, and Mabel, 17.
1900 US Census, Cameron Township, Audubon County. Widow, living with daughter Hattie, son-in-law Samuel C. Randle, granddaughters Myrtle E. Ross and Lucia D. Ross.

Carmichael graves are in the old east part of the cemetery, going north up the paved road, halfway up.
