HAHIRA-Jennifer Paige Stone, 19, of Hahira died Sunday, February 3, 2008 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on June 20, 1988 in Valdosta and was a lifelong resident of this area. Jennifer was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and loved life, water skiing, sports and being with her family and friends. She was a sophomore at Valdosta State University where she was a member of the Honor Society and employed in patient care at South Georgia Medical Center.
Survivors include her mother, Sonya Stone of Hahira, father and stepmother, Wilson Lee, Jr. and Deborah Stone of Nashville, her sister, Heather Stone of Hahira, maternal grandparents, Gene and Verna Tucker of Hahira, stepgrandmother, Elaine Stone of Nashville, great grandmother, Catherine Harper of Nashville, uncles and aunts, Kirby and Tina Tucker of Hahira, Sharon and Jimmy Reeves of West Palm Beach, Fla., Pam and Tim O'Neal of Hahira, Brenda and Buck Warren of Nashville, numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 from 6-8pm at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home.
