His will dated 24 Jan 1638; it names wife Margaret and children Henry, Lawrence, John Margaret Blisse, Joane Beard, Alice Browne, Mary. The will directs that he be buried in the churchyard of Rodborough. He willed his house and lands to son Henry, on the condition that Henry pay the legacies stipulated in the will.
