Mayfield, KY - Robert J. "Rob" Puryear, 89, of Mayfield died at 11:50 am Monday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
Mr. Puryear was retired from the state Highway Department.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Louise Stephens Puryear of Mayfiekd; a son - Marvin Puryear of Mayfield; and a grandson - Robbie Puryear of Murray.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. His parents were Richard Ed Puryear and Hattie Rickman Puryear.
Services will be at 3 pm Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Lebanon Church of Christ Cemetery.
Friends may call after 11 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
