Irene Elenore Albertine was born to Gustav Friedrich and Augusta (Leopold) Barchenger. She married John Clifford Little on September 18, 1923 in Melrose, Minnesota. A daughter died in infancy. Their children were: Robert Arthur, Viola Mae, Clifford Orey, Shirley Ann, and John Wayne Kind. Services were held on May 3, 1972 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre, Minnesota with the Rev. George Eschenbacher officiating. The organist was Gail Gamradt and Mrs. Bette Lange was the vocalist. Pallbearers were: Cary Bliese, George Hald, Harold Hamann, Leander Vogel, Vern Ostendorf, and Steve Dirschel.
