Born in Lynchburg on September 17, 1950, Doug was a son of James Vivian and Connie Reynolds. He loved to work on cars, and was even a mechanic for NASCAR.
Doug was preceded in death by his first wife, Robin Reynolds.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, James "JD" Reynolds, Jr. and his wife, Angie.
