Angeline C. Adamow, 91, passed away at Lincoln Village on Saturday, June 8, 2013, a day before her 92nd birthday. Angeline was born on June 9, 1921 to the late Albert and Marcella (nee: Smader) Adamow. She was employed at Rainfair in Racine for over 50 years, serving in human services. While at Rainfair, she also served as the president of the Credit Union. After her retirement, she still stayed very connected to many of the friends she made at Rainfair. Angeline will be best remembered for her big heart and friendly personality. Angeline will be dearly missed by her sister, Genevieve Horist; sister-in-law, Evelyn Adamow; nieces and nephews, Marcy (William) Huber, Joseph (Dolores) Horist, Genevieve Strzemp, Regina (Randal) Jones, Carl Jr. (Therese) Adamow , Kathleen Adamow, Donna (Ken) Zarnecki, and Albert Adamow; as well as many great-nieces, great- nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roman and Carl Sr. (Josephine) Adamow; sister, Tekla (Ben) Twardowski; and nephew, Robert (Cheryl) Twardowski. Visitation in honor of Angeline will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 3:00-9:00pm and continuing at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 12, from 8:30-9:30am. A Procession will follow to St. Edward's Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery- Hwy. 32. Wilson Funeral Home 1212 Lathrop Ave.
