Elmer R "Mike” Grinstead, 74, of 501 East 14th. died Saturday night. Jan. 16. 1988. at Brooking Park Geriatrics Center. He was born Nov. IO, 1913, in Longwood, son of Abmer and Lucy Miller Grinstead. On Nov. 9. 1957, in Sedalia, he married Hazel Ruth Fair, who survives of the home. Mr. Grinstead was retired from Adco Inc He was a member of the State Fair Lions Club. Pettis County chapter No. 31 of the American War dads and Moose Lodge No. 1494. Other survivors include three sons, Junior Blankenship. 118 South Gentry; J.T. Blankenship. Overland Park, Kan.; Roger Grinstead, Prescott Valley. Ariz.; two daughters. Ruth Hickey. 501 East 14th; Anita Bunch. 118 South Gentry; a brother. Earl T. Grinstead. Sun City, Ariz.; a sister. Ethel Bodine. Toms River. N J.; 16 grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren.
