Wm. C. LeFever, son of Simon R. LeFever, died on Saturday near Springtown, aged 28 years. His death resulted from an attack of appendicitis, an operation performed some days before failing to bring any relief. He leaves a widow and one child. He was a young man of esteemed character, and good judgement. Of late the management of the farm had devolved mainly on him. The funeral at the Reformed Church was largely attended. A numerous concourse of relatives and friends assembled ____ with the bereaved ones, and to testify to their appreciation of the deceased as a man and citizen. The remarks of Dr. Oggel on this occasion were well calculated to impress upon all present the uncertainty of life.
