CORPORAL, GUNNER, B-24 LIBERATOR, "SEAFOOD MAMA" 321ST SQUADRON (BOMBS AWAY), 90TH BOMB GROUP 'JOLLY ROGERS', 5TH AIR FORCE, SERVING IN THE PACIFIC THEATER OF OPERATIONS. MEMBER OF EDWARD GOFF CREW. KILLED MAY 24, 1943. HE WAS RETURNING FROM A BOMBING MISSION NEAR RABAUL, AND HIS PLANE CRASHED WHILE LANDING AT PORT MORESBY. AWARDED THE PURPLE HEART.
