He was born on April 6, 1931, in Marion, S.C. He was a retired machinist and auto mechanic, a combat wounded veteran of the Korean War in the Marine Corp., and a very loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Duncan.
His son, Glen Duncan and two granddaughters, Lauren Duncan and Hillary Duncan predeceased him.
Mr. Duncan's funeral service will be 1 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at Abbey-Riposta Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
