Preceded in death by wife, Beverly L. "Minnie" Nelsen; and son, Terry Paul Nelsen. Survived by daughters, Debbie Podwinski (Jim), and Diana Mertins (Byron); his grandchildren, Lindsey Podwinski, Corey Podwinski (Ashley), Eryn Mertins, and Kyle Mertins; great grandson, Oliver; sisters, Betty King, Bonnie Frazier, and Barb Dodenhof (Mel); brother, Howard Nelsen (Margie); nieces and nephews.
The family will Receive friends Monday 5-8pm at West Center Chapel. SERVICES Tuesday 10:30am, Messiah Lutheran Church, 5015 S. 80 St. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials will be directed by the family.
