TALLULAH, Jan. 14. — (Special) — Percy O. Benjamin, 67, a resident of Madison parish for 29 years, and an outstanding public official, died today. He was former secretary of the Madison parish police jury, the engineer for the parish, and a member of the Episcopal Church.

Funeral services are incomplete but will be held in Tallulah under the direction of the Young Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Silver Cross cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Halsey Ribendark [sic Ribenbark], Charlotte, N.C., Miss Elizabeth Benjamin, Memphis, Tenn., and Miss Cecelia Benjamin, Tallulah; one son, Walter, Tallulah; two brothers, one sister, and one grandchild.
