Joseph Thomas Joiner, 39, died Saturday, June 18, 2005.

Services will be 2P.M. Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at Byron Baptist Church with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Dr. Lawrence Kirk will officiate.

Born in Montezuma, Mr. Joiner was an aircraft mechanic at Robins Air Force Base and a member of Byron Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of twelve years, Lynn Joiner of Byron; children, Secilie Nicole Joiner and Thomas J. Joiner of Byron; parents, Charlie and Margie Joiner of Taylor County and Herman and Virginia Wilkes of Fort Valley; brother, Joel Joiner of Lizella; sister, Carol Cano of Fort Valley; mother and father-in-law, Peter and Lillian Balistreri of Eatonton.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2005 at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron. -The family may be contacted at their residence. Rooks Funeral Home in Byron has charge of arrangements.
