Born in Montezuma, Mr. Joiner was an aircraft mechanic at Robins Air Force Base and a member of Byron Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of twelve years, Lynn Joiner of Byron; children, Secilie Nicole Joiner and Thomas J. Joiner of Byron; parents, Charlie and Margie Joiner of Taylor County and Herman and Virginia Wilkes of Fort Valley; brother, Joel Joiner of Lizella; sister, Carol Cano of Fort Valley; mother and father-in-law, Peter and Lillian Balistreri of Eatonton.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605.
