Steve Walton CONCORDIA — Steve Walton, 53, Concordia, died Tuesday Dec. 5, 2006. Mr. Walton was born Nov 4, 1953, in Concordia. He was a warehouseman for Boogaarts-Scrivner in Concordia for 25 years and was the parts manager for Womack-Sunshine Ford in Concordia for the past eight years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn; a brother-in-law, Doug Graham; and an aunt, Nancy Nutter Survivors include his wife, Sherry of Concordia; three sons, Shane of Olathe, Scott of Austin, Texas, and Seth of Concordia; a daughter, Shanielle Wenzl and husband Clint of Olathe; a grandchild, Cameron Wenzl of Olathe; his father Norman Walton, of Concordia; a brother, Larry Walton and wife Dawn of Blue Springs, Mo.; a sister, Cindy Graham of Hutchinson; three aunts, Rosalie "Hokey" Lagasse and Janet Johnson and husband Jay all of Concordia, and Linda Nobert and husband Larry of Ames; two uncles, Michael "Mogie" McDaniel and wife DeAnn of Topeka and Melvin Nutter and wife Diane of Alameda, Calif.; six nieces; and four nephews.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, Concordia, the Rev. John States officiating. Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia 66901, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
