Alfred was first interred at the former property of David Trundle, a family cemetery that was destroyed in 1958 by PEPCO Holding to create an electric power plant. Richard Flinn, author of "The Trundle (Trunnell) Family of Maryland" states that Alfred and his wife Charlotte were re-interred at Point of Rocks Cemetery, Frederick County, Maryland.Alfred studied medicine and practiced extensively, in addition to conducting a large farm.

Married Charlotte (Trundle) Belt on December 22, 1809.
