Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Sledge of Sledge, Miss., who died Saturday afternoon at Baptist Hospital after a brief illness, will be held at 2 this afternoon at First Methodist Church of Sledge. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Arnold West Funeral Home of Sardis, Miss., in charge.
Mrs. Sledge, who was 72, was the mother of Mrs. Ira P. Singleton of 102 Lundee. Mrs. Sledge's husband. R. F. Sledge, well known plantation owner, died Feb. 9, 1940.
