She was born in Parkersburg on Oct. 5, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Samuel Warren and Vernice Shaw Wentz. She was a member of the Veto Church of Christ and was a charter member of the Cribs to College O.C.C.L. for over 40 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Greg) Harmon of Marietta, Carmela (David) Anderson of Vincent, Ohio; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Tyson) Borman, Cody (Kristin) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Dillon and Madison Yocum, Bennett and McKinley Borman; stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Harmon, Annie (Ryan) Prendergast, Molly (Harry) Linsinbigler; stepgreat-grandchildren, Skylar and Tyler Linsinbigler, Nyla Harmon, Ellie and Ryan Prendergast. Also surviving are two sisters, Geneva Wilson, Olive Bonar; three brothers, John, Jack, and Virgil Wentz; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold E. Adams in 1996; a brother; and two sisters.
The family will be at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Belpre to receive friends from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at Belpre Church of Christ with Dan Plum officiating.
