OBSERVES 95th BIRTHDAY
Mrs. Chloe Hatch Hamlin, eldest inhabitant of Falmouth, was accorded a reception on her 95th birthday, July 7, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George W. Jones and Mr. Jones, Palmer Avenue. In excellent health, Mrs. Hamlin received the congratulations of many friends and was surrounded by her three children and their families, including her daughter, Mrs. Jones; two sons, Edward B. and Simeon Hamlin, and grandson Chandler W. Jones who with his wife came down from Worcester for the occasion.
Out-of-town visitors included Mrs. Harriet R. Hammond, Mrs. Julia Cobb, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Grinnell of New York and son Wilbur. Close friends who called included Mrs. J.M. Watson, Miss Katharine Watson, Mrs. Alma Kerns, Rev. and Mrs. L.S. Nightwine, Miss Hattie Gifford, Mrs. George E. Dean and Mrs. G.W. Giddings.
Mrs. Hamlin, widow of the late Capt. Solomon Hamlin, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Robinson and has spent practically her entire life in her native town.
