"Julius C. Amsler, a well-known citizen of Beaver Township, aged 75 years died at
his home on Sunday, July 17, 1932, after an illness of a few days from heart trouble. Although his health had been poor for some
time he seemed to feel as well as usual up to a few days before his death. Mr. Amsler was born in Beaver Township and lived
there practically his entire life. He was always active in anything leading to the welfare or good of the community. His wife survives with one daughter, Mrs. Cora Klingensmith, with whom they made their home. Two sons and a daughter are dead. He is also survived by the following brothers and sister: G. A. Amsler and C. H. Amsler, of Beaver Township; Will, of Buffalo, N. Y.; Ed, of Clarksburg, W. Va., and Mrs. McLean, of Los Angeles, Calif. Mr. Amsler was a long devoted member of the Providence M. E. Church of the Shippenville charge. His funeral was held at his home on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 p. m., and interment was made in the Providence Cemetery."
