Alta Mae Tittle was the daughter of Jefferson Tittle and Martha Minerva Beavers Tittle. Alta married John Charles Beck in Wills Point, Texas on 18 December 1927 at the home of the pastor, J. A. Kidd.She and Charles moved to Iowa Park, Texas and began farming. First son, Mickey Gene Beck, was born 28 November 1929, and died 4 January 1930, buried in Union Grove Cemetery, Wills Point, Texas. Second son Robert J. Beck was born 24 January 1930 and is living in 2016. The family moved back to Wills Point where daughter Joyce Nell was born 24 February 1933 and son Donald Charles Beck was born 15 March 1935, then son Larry Max was born 16 June 1944. They are living in 2016. Alta's memorial service was conducted by her son, Robert J. Beck, D.Min. at Southwayside Baptist Church, Fort Worth.She was interred beside her husband and young son in Union Grove Cemetery, Wills Point, Texas.
