BATESBURG - James Ellis Bagwell, 75, passed away June 6, 2013. Interment in Ridge Spring Cemetery. Mr. Bagwell was born in Laurens County, son of the late Milton Outz and Fair Bell Davenport Bagwell. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was National Guard Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Marie Corder Bagwell; son, James Bagwell, Jr; daughters, Rene Temples; Jann Michelle Day; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; special daughter, Debbie Gregory; special grandchildren, Kristie Walker; Suzanna Halsey; and Michael Craig. He was preceded in death by daughters, DeAnna Marks; Lucretia; Jannina Marie; brothers, John W. and Eugene Bagwell; sisters, Connie Maroney and Sue Miles. Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
