She attended school at Vincent and Walker. A resident of Victoria, she was a homemaker. She belonged to St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Christian Mothers, all at Victoria.
On Aug. 18, 1941, she married Peter J. Braun, Sr., at Victoria. He survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Ronald, Pete Jr., and Sam, all of Victoria; five daughters, Judy Evans, Garden City; Charlotte Weber and Debra Geschwentner, both of Victoria; Marilyn Giebler, Catherine; and Carolyn Younger, Munjor; a sister, Velma Weigel, Hays; two stepsisters, Sophia Jacobs, Victoria; and Thecla Hammerschmidt, Lyons; 25 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: a son, Donald Braun; a daughter, Darlene Braun; a brother, Ralph VonLintel; four stepbrothers, Adolph Graf, Balthasar Graf, Felix Graf and Clarence Graf; and a stepsister, Christina Begons.
Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, followed by a Daughters of Isabella and Christian Mothers rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.
Memorials may be sent to St. Fidelis Church, the American Diabetes Association or the masses, all in care of the funeral home.
