JAY M. HAWKINS
ARCOLA — Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Arcola Cemetery, Arcola, for Jay M. Hawkins. The Rev. Glen Bocox will officiate.
Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, is in charge. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Hawkins, 86, of Arcola died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 1, 1981) in Mattoon Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Nov. 6, 1894, in Newman, a son of Charles and Louisa Hawkins. A retired jeweler, Mr. Hawkins was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and American Legion at Arcola and a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
